We help you say yes to your call by forming simple, replicable, Jesus-centered communities in everyday places.
Church Done Simple
What is The Gathering of Neighbors Collective
The Gathering of Neighbors Collective exists to help people form simple, Jesus-centered communities in everyday places. Rather than building complicated structures or requiring formal ministry pathways, the Collective focuses on helping everyday believers take faithful next steps in the places they already live, work, and belong.
These gatherings are intentionally designed to be:
Simple - Healthy practices that are easy to understand and share.
Relational - Communities built around real relationships rather than programs.
Replicable - Structures that can naturally multiply as more people say yes to gathering others around Jesus.
Church often takes shape in places like homes, coffee shops, campuses, neighborhoods, and other shared spaces where people already gather in everyday life.
Across North America many people are spiritually open but hesitant to engage traditional church environments. At the same time, many faithful followers of Jesus feel unsure how to live out their calling in everyday life. They may feel called to gather people, disciple others, or help others grow spiritually, but they often lack simple pathways to begin. The Gathering of Neighbors Collective exists to bridge that gap.
We believe the Gospel moves most naturally through relationships, presence, and proximity
When followers of Jesus gather with others where they already live and belong, faith can grow in natural and meaningful ways. Simple expressions of church allow the Gospel to extend into everyday spaces and communities that may otherwise remain disconnected from traditional church structures.
Becoming a Chapter
For individuals who sense God nudging them to gather people around Jesus in their everyday context.
A chapter is a simple expression of church that forms through relationships and shared rhythms of discipleship. Chapters often meet in homes, neighborhoods, coffee shops, campuses, or other natural gathering spaces.
You do not need to be a pastor, attend seminary, or launch a traditional church. You simply need a willingness to gather people and pursue Jesus together.
The Collective provides
coaching,
encouragement, and
guidance so that leaders can take healthy next steps and grow in their calling.
Partner as a Church
Some churches choose to walk alongside the Gathering of Neighbors Collective to strengthen disciple-making and multiplication. Churches can partner in two primary ways.
Some churches build with us by fully aligning with the Collective’s frameworks and rhythms for training and sending leaders.
Other churches resource with us, drawing from tools, coaching, and training to strengthen their existing ministries without changing their core structure.
Both approaches allow churches to pursue healthy multiplication while remaining faithful to their unique context and calling.
Financial Partnership
Financial partners help make it possible for this work to continue growing and supporting leaders. Because the Collective is committed to removing financial barriers for those sensing a calling to lead, chapters receive training, coaching, and support at no cost to them. Financial partners help sustain that commitment.
Their generosity allows the Collective to:
- train new leaders
- coach and support chapters
- develop simple systems that serve communities
- respond quickly as new opportunities emerge
Financial partnership is not simply generosity - it is shared Kingdom responsibility.
People First, Not Programs
The focus is not on building large structures but on helping people faithfully respond to what God is inviting them into.
Healthy Before Fast
Sustainable multiplication grows out of healthy leaders and communities.
Simple Is Powerful
When something is simple, it can be shared.
When something is healthy, it can last.
When something is replicable, it can multiply.
This approach helps ensure that new gatherings form naturally and continue growing in healthy ways over time.
Our Approach
The Gathering of Neighbors Collective believes God is raising up everyday followers of Jesus to help cultivate communities of faith across neighborhoods, campuses, workplaces, and cities.
