What is a Chapter

A chapter is a simple expression of church that forms through relationships and shared rhythms of discipleship. Rather than gathering around programs or large organizational structures, chapters focus on creating spaces where people can encounter Jesus, grow together, and support one another in everyday life.

These gatherings often happen in natural settings such as:

• Homes
• Coffee shops
• Campuses
  
• Neighborhoods
  
• Shared community spaces

Church takes shape where people already live, work, and belong. The goal is not to create complexity, but to cultivate healthy communities that are simple, relational, and replicable.

Many followers of Jesus sense a desire to help others grow in faith, but often feel unsure how to begin. The Gathering of Neighbors Collective exists to help everyday believers take simple, faithful steps toward forming communities centered around Jesus.

Becoming a chapter means starting a simple gathering where people can grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and live out their faith together in everyday life.

You don’t need a building.

You don’t need formal ministry training.

You simply need a willingness to say yes to what God may be inviting you into.

How We Support You

When you become part of the Gathering of Neighbors Collective, you are not expected to figure everything out alone. The Collective exists to walk alongside leaders and help them grow in their calling.

The Journey

2. Training and Formation

Leaders engage in training that helps them develop healthy rhythms for gathering people, discipling others, and leading with humility and faithfulness.

3. Launching a Gathering

Once ready, you begin gathering people in a simple and natural way within your existing relationships and community.

4. Ongoing Support

The Collective continues to provide coaching, encouragement, and community as your chapter grows and develops.

The goal is not simply starting gatherings, but cultivating healthy leaders and communities that can grow and multiply over time.
